I choose this painting to do a replica of in part because I was interested in the lighting and technique. I feel it was successful for the amount of time I was able to contribute.Replica painting of Bartolomeo Manfredi's "Cupid Chastised " 1613 . It is in part of the collection at The Art institute of Chicago museum where I studied. Being able to go directly to the museum while painting this piece was very Helpful.
